March 17th Tutorial - FIT 2001

Today we've learned in detail in regards to the appropriate website user interface. Colour coordination, placement of buttons and designs, and so forth are all the factors that have to be taken into account in designing a user friendly website.

Other than that, the tutor has taught us how to manage a storyboard in designing a web page itself. Definitely a fun learning activity, despite the simplicity it may sound.

Countdown has already started but just what is this meaningful event occurring soon that everyone is so jubilant about ? 31 August 1957, a vital date where Malaysia has come a long way since then. Independence, a wishful ideology eon ago, has finally come to an end.

Merdeka ! Merdeka ! Merdeka !

Merdeka, derived from Sanskrit Maharddhika which invokes the meaning of "rich, prosperous and powerful". The echoed voices emanating from the entire citizens, the endless chants together with the might of Tunku Abdul Rahman as legitimately signed the declaration of independence, the beginning of our desired freedom. Thus, Malaysia was born.

One of the most sophisticated cultural pluralism nation in the world, with a vast diversity of cultures that can be seen through the lenses of different races like Malay, Chinese, Indian and Indigenous people. Moreover, the uniqueness of the country as it imposed the diversity as a positive resource rather than a difficult and impassable barrier of multi-cultural ism.

Kids aligning themselves in many school halls, singing with rigid and stern attitude for the song of independence and the national anthem, the rise of myriad independence themed competitions covering from the decoration of our beloved country's flag to the handiwork of innovative independence poems. All seems well per say.

But little did we know, has time actually played a big role in corroding the genuine authenticity meaning of patriotism ?

We ponder to ourselves, the state of what we are living in. Corruptions going on endlessly, the augmentation of transgression distortion of various crimes, the unity of multiracial bonds which has now become more of a sketchy image rather than the real belief instilled within everyone.

Sadly, these scenarios are becoming prevalent and almost ubiquitous. So what have become of us ?

The merry of independent had turned ugly when 13 May 1969 incident occurred.

The crisis was sparked by extreme communal politics and they sure did not consider the terrible consequences out of it. The laymen term of "white man's burden" quest solely relied on the greed for wealth. The theory of comparative advantage by Adam Smith could be seen in Malaya when most of the mining, and rubber industry were being outsourced to the best people who could do that which are the Chinese and Indian.

Despite the wealth, the only return we could get were disparity and polarization between the multi-racial society in Malaysia, which served as the best recipe for conflict, violence and disaster.

In 1970's, students were more dynamic and patriotic. As of the youth in the 21st century, loopholes are constantly being generated which simply inhibit their ability to continue the legacy of producing national leader at tertiary education level. This is many due thanks to unilateralism meritocracy and the controversial mindset. =)

When you talk about national unity, most of us would be relying upon external factors to deal with it such as equality in economic distribution, social justice and cohesiveness in politics. Rarely religion plays a leading role to promote the solution and understanding for Malaysian in our path to national unity. The mould of our political, economic and social point of view has never been emphasis grealty through religious scope. Be it in Islam, or any other religions.

This is our weak points.

Can racial based politics be abolished without the cohesion and synergy between respective sides in giving the best for the citizens ?

Can we guarantee the lifeline of creativity, bravery and patriotism for Malaysian youth ?

Lastly, how can we learn the importance of galvanizing our youth to be more responsible towards our nation ?

These are one of the few, that we must be reminiscent of from time to time.
Thus, I rest my case.

Apparently, I had another wave of ambivalence in my chosen preferences. It was once, yet twice, and now, a few, to say the least. Doubt, was all I have in mind now. Am I actually going through the right path or simply a mere coincidence between the two intertwining ways that I'm actually comtemplating.

It is such a chore, to actually understand and grasp the mere complexity of it. How wishful would I be, if everything is made default and taken into consideration from the start, which no hestitation and much pondering. zzzz

Humdrum, Clichéd and Hackneyed

I'm back =)

2nd week of Uni. Nothing progressive, just making more slight adjustment to the Uni's surreal environment. Also, it's pretty much unlikely for the ambience to go hectic and noisy to how Sunway College's atmosphere is. Lectures are going on as usual. Good lecturers are abundant and resourceful, and conversely, some bad ones too.

That said, it's still not a astute choice to place the blame on them. Lectures are simply a mere part of the whole agenda in a Uni life. 1 lecture per subject, you see.
What matter most, is the consistency of updating yourself to know what is going on, and to be ahead of the chapters of certain subjects proposed on the following day or week.

Assignments are all over the place. Lab assignments, tutorial questions and online quizzes. I guess that's all. =)

Delectation-wise, it's time to please my desire for my indulgence in MMORPG games.

Monash is back XD

Here it comes, scurrying and pint-pointing towards you, laughing hysterically with no slight of doubts of exultation for torments and tortures, grinning estastically while emanating a chain of aura surrounding the atmosphere with anguish and affliction.

The time has come. Do or Die. That is, and always will be the moto. The strong shall pervail and the weak shall be further abolished and eradicated with merciless extermination.

A little on the dramatic side. Oh well. Holiday has ended and orientation is in the process of completion. Little did I know, The Bachelor of ITS which is the course that I for took and enrolled in Monash was rather miniscule and diminutive in comparison to the numbers of undergraduates that signed up for Business Course. Though, unconfirmed, it rounds up to less than 80 scholars in The School of I.T where as The School of Business, consist approximately 600 students and still counting. With such mere number, it takes no necessary effort to cleanly wiped out the minority.

Surprised, were my 1st expression as I noticed such a small amount in the designated class on the 2nd day of orientation. And also to hear news regarding the preceeding semester, whereby the constitution of students in S.O.I.T did not even add up to at least 50 ! XD

Putting that aside, I'm keen to go after the scholarship offered in Monash. All that's left now would be to inquire the minimum requirement for that qualifications and a constant peserverance and hard work of revision, not to mention study smart. =)

M.U.F.Y, was a year to experience the different nature of surrounding. Studying only to pass was a simple, undemanding task. But now, this will bring in the different elements of objective and goals. Better work hard and study smart. Tata.

"K" - Nationalism

Having myself dwelling more into Korean Entertainment, I've come to realized a certain serendipitous connotation behind the very hard-wired nationalism among the Korea netizens. Netizens, which simply stands for a mass group of online-communities. In Korea, every minutiae is taken into consideration, particularly under the all the rage entertainment domain. Controversy happens all the time. And these controversy leaves no rest to any stars and celebrities.

To my surprise, as I searched further on for informations regarding a popular group, 2 P.M, a sub-group of "One Day". One of the member has been strongly involved in a major controversy which revolved the entire communities of Korean. His name is Jaebeom, a third-generation Korean American from Seattle and talented leader of that group.

"Jaebeom joined JYP Entertainment in 2005 at age 18, and was trained in Korea prior to his debut as a 2PM member. 2PM was very successful, rising to the top of the charts by early 2009." - KoreanTK

Through a brief summary, he has embarked on the competitive field of entertainment, with debut option as the main goal. Time passed, and he has realized his debut dreams, winning ostentatious awards and so forth.

Paradoxically, reality sets in sooner or later, as polarized fan base comes after being successful. Haters give no mercy in imposing every minute detail that's well enough to be contradicted on. Support-wise, gives well-enough notions for the supportive fan base. With the recent incidence, which have to my surprise would be Jaebeom.

His used to be private Myspace, has been made publics, and netizens has come to dig out a significant info which he relates to the Korean communities when he started staying in Korea. Missing home, as all would experience home-sickness, starts to make his "youthful mistakes", as negative comments of his detestation towards the Korean. The very moment the news were to leaked out on the nets, K-pop fans, varying from both sides, starts to engaged in this hot issue.

Reactions from online-fans, particularly over the Internet, was swift, harsh. and unsympathetic. Massive amount of hate mail and blog posts soon overwhelmed the popular Korean websites such as Naver and Daum (similar to Yahoo and Google.) Soon, petitions were implemented calling for 2 P.M's disbandment. Despite the whole drama, the JYP-entertainment industry, which endorse 2 P.M called upon a statement to the press, stating the post was written at least four years ago, and thus, does not relate to current circumstances.

Fast-forward, he quits and released an official apology to the public and heads back to his hometown in Seattle.

"Having said that, this episode is indeed very interesting because it is an excellent illustration of a particular characteristic of a Korean society that often baffles the outsiders – its interconnectedness. Korea is an extremely interconnected society. Put differently, everyone knows everyone in Korea. (Or more accurately, in Korea, everyone knows at least someone who knows another, leading to knowing everyone.) And by “everyone”, the Korean truly means everyone – including the biggest stars and celebrities." - KoreanTK

Often this is described as Korea’s being small, but it is more than that. Compared to Americans, Koreans build a much denser social network over their lives through school, work, hometown and neighborhood. Also, Korea itself is literally denser than America – anything and anyone that matter are located in Seoul, a 12-million people gigapolis. On top of that, Korea is unquestionably the most wired country in the world. Internet works on incredible speed.

There are many practical implications of this, which will be discussed over other posts as well. But one of the major implications is that in Korea, the distance between the media/Internet and the real world is very, very small.

In contrast to America. Take Britney Spears, for example. There is no doubt that she lives in a fish bowl of sorts in America. Paparazzis follow her around everywhere. Any small detail of her life gets publicly exposed on Perez Hilton, E-News, etc. But as bad as her life is in America, her career as a celebrity might suffer, but she can more or less go on living her life.

But again, by September of 2009, the consequences for a celebrity who pisses off his fan base should have been pretty clear to anyone. Jaebeom is still an idiot for allowing this to happen. Jaebeom is actually lucky, because his sentence was not hell but a purgatory. The Korean society now has had the time to reflect the excesses of its Internet culture, and is coming around to realize that it is being too harsh on individuals for understandable mistakes that individuals are capable of making.

In the nutshell, we can see the strong bond of nationalism deep-rooted among Koreans. Such inherent abilities, sometimes do have it's pro's and con's. I guess Korea culture sure is a total opposite of many nations.

Highest rate of stupidity

As much as I hate to say, but this just tends to go overboard at times.

Despite the various environments I am exposed to, the one and only one that are able to raise my blood pressure would be my sister.

Countless arguments have I been into and numerous of times have I made physical argument with, none of these is enough make me incensed nor irate. But a mere conversation with my sister is already enough to tick me off.

Respect, does she not show most of the time, or would I say ever before. Her trademark tone, being exasperating and rile used in most of her conversation among us, be it my dad or my mom or me. What's more, her sense of unfounded illogical statements and her recurrent, unpredictable disposition. And a master in being temperamental just further sideline the affection of what a brother should have towards a sister.

For the most part, I always tell myself not to bother such a minuscule and infinitesimal detail. But yet again, patience and tolerance do have their maximum threshold. While mine is has long been exhausted and over the boundaries, which what makes me feel like typing something here now.

Complains or would I say, sensible suggestions to my parents to make her a better person or to be a less annoying person to me, just fail with every approach. Like they said, point a finger to a person and have 3 fingers point back at you. They affirmed me that it was due to my over-worrisome attitude and blame me for mumbling so much while calling me senile.

Boy, I'll definitely tell you this, be lenient now and you can see a static deterioration in her attitude and improper self-development. Trust me, my parents just seems to be pamper her too much.

She doesn't do house-chores. Fine so be it. But at least have some sense of responsibility of placing leftovers and dirty plates back to the sink and not leave it on the computer table and everywhere else.

She did not switched off her iron and left it there, that if she used it. Just imagine would happen to my our precious home.

She just likes to leave the door entrance opened while she is upstair or in her room. What's more of locking it. My area is well known for robberies and my neighbor just gotten into one. When will she ever learn.

There was once she left the gas stove on, after cooking her omelet. That I believe, need no explanation for the undying consequences if anything were to happen.

There is just too many things to rant about, and I sometimes ponder why would even bother to post things regarding her and waste my time. I don't know. Let's hope she will get back to her senses in years to come, and someone would just beat her up nicely and let her know what has she been doing all this while.

The Price to Pay

There are times, I wonder, just what is real basis of our state of learning outcome from college and other education ?

Global issues, inflation for instance.

Despite the peculiarity of how inflation gives it's redistributive effects, as associated with inflation for giving the increase in the average level of prices, not a change to any specific changes, I asked myself, supposed is that how I see things now ?

Gardner Ackley of University of Michigan once observed, that a significant real cost of inflation is what it does to morale, to social coherence, and to people's attitude towards each other. The society, as what we perceived, is built on implicit and explicit contracts, linked to the very idea that dollar actually means something. And if the value of dollar were to be precluded, the system is undermined.

Albeit living under a parlous economy, the price to pay for the purpose of education sometimes seem to be a little far-fetched. As dollars are being printed out continuously, the assessment on the value of dollars slowly depreciates over time, no doubt. And dwelling into that, every so often the issues of Cyclical Stability of Economy is brought up, sometimes I ponder if it should be put credence into concern for my parents in the future.

I guess time will tell.

The Beginning of the End

25th October 2009..

A belief that I have long cultivated in me, such a dogma will I not be easily influenced by any intrinsic or extrinsic factors. The Beginning of the End, where times flies.

........

As we progress through many phases, there are various-different environments and atmospheres, we are exposed to. Nuff said.

Being that, the coming to the end of 2nd semester is days away. Finishing Trials, and soon, Finals. Tomorrow, which is next week, would be considered as the final week for our time together. The good moments we had, the joy and fun experiences we shared together, the sorrow moments of burden we took together, and the new understanding of given knowledge basing on our actions learnt simultaneously.

The duration of 1 year simply flew by, too fast for me, or anyone to grasp the real meaning of time. Coming from that, I just want to say, I have learnt a lot. The things and steps I have to do, to avoid conflicts, the words I have to watched out for, to avoid prejudices, the image that I portrayed, to avoid misunderstanding, and lastly, the actions I have to execute, to sort out intricate problems. The year 2009, which I shall consider, to be one of the years where various things happened to me, and have really shed light on real meaning of life.

Ignorance and denial is a bliss but reality can be painful as well. As I dwell deeper in this statement, I begun to understand more and more of it. Being a bona fide realist, like myself, has enabled me to bring myself to the society properly and move on. Life can be sucky at times, but life wouldn't be interesting isn't it ? - if there isn't any obstacle hindering us from progressing. Sometimes, words would bring no meaning, if the existence of antonyms and opposites are absent from the very nature of the definition. Word would be nothing but a word, if the contradicting word doesn't appear basing on the word itself. Confusing ? Let's hope not.

In simpler terms, it means that, we wouldn't understand the meaning of full and satisfied, if we hadn't feel hungry. We wouldn't understand the meaning of happy if we weren't sad. We wouldn't understand the importance of companions and friendships, without once feeling lonely and forlorn. Likewise, we wouldn't understand the real hardship of life, if we only live our life avoiding knotty and convoluted problems and at the same time, pouring in little efforts in accomplishing what we aimed for.

So there you have it. To sum it all, I am thankful and glad for the things that happened to me. The failures and successes I obtained, the new experiences I gained, the new friends I have made, and lastly, the real understanding of life itself. Our future isn't something that we just risk it on the line by hoping for good luck to achieve success.

By hoping and by wishing for good opportunities coming to our way is just plainly too idealistic. Success lies in our hand, and definitely basing on our genuine efforts. The endeavours we're going to do in the future, is what defines us, and is the very manifestation and reflection of an individual. So to say, let's work hard and enjoy life. Getting depressed nor getting emotional on little things is the last thing we should actually consider.

1. There are just too many things in my head now - Staring bluntly into the empty air space do sometimes provide me some benefit of doubts.

2. Hectic week - many exams - yet stress level ? Minimal for now. Studying in college helps me to get my mind off the reality.

Reached home at 6.30p.m after a long dreadful - mundane, dull, and boring Moral Studies.

Ate my dinner and immediately dozed off till now. Woke up at 11 p.m + with a real effing headache.
Gahh ~! , it's subsiding but still haven't go away T_T

Stupid nightmare.. I don't even know why must I be involved in that dream. ish. =.=

Sien la. Anyway, looking forward for Shi Man's MoonCake Celebration on Sat. ^^

To start anew for tomorrow, I shall. A week of holiday has ended and nothing productive gained throughout the entire semester break.

1. It seems to me I've been thinking a lot lately. Carefully thinking of the consequences, the result, and the future outcome.

2. I'm really worried and lost.

3. I'm doing my presentation slide now, after days of procrastination. I'm doing it now for the sake of necessity rather than a luxury. At least I tried.

4. Tomorrow is badminton and I don't feel like going.

5. College classes commence starting tomorrow and I feel no slight notion of enthusiasticm in me despite the need for me to communicate with my friends after a long week of dreadful holiday.

6. I love college, yet I hate it at times. It comes and go. I don't know why.

7. I want to get over with the Moral Studies Project and my Maths topic test.

8. It is time, to search for other alternative. Rest assured I will not be disillusioned by the abundant peer pressure lingering around me.

A Jog In Seri Kembangan

The setting sun paints in the skies in hues of orange and yellow, basking the vast green landscapes that stretch for miles in its beauty. With the skies buoyant around the corners of the shiny rays of sunlight, clouds looking as fluffy as always and blue in its nature, blending in, to merge such a tranquil and picturesque atmosphere in that moment of time.

Bringing further to the ground, fresh and identical pine trees lingered straight in the pathway, giving a seemingly impression of a parallel world of mirrors as I jog passed it. A downpour, earlier in the morning, leaving every leaves a vivid details of lush-greenish and countrified leaves, with water particles gracefully streaming down the minuscule yet distinct veins of every leaves.

Weather wise, it's cold and chilly. With every few steps jogged, the blustery wind brushes through my face, caressing it and provide such a temptation to continue further on to enjoy the luxury of this feeling.

I stared straight, looking deep into the never-ending damp trail, never knowing that comes ahead. With no hesitation, I moved forward and further deep through the vast empty path, where there is no living souls around but me and my beloved I-Pod.

Myriads of brilliant sun-rays shone the pathways, such glittery glows I had never seem to notice the entire time, not forgetting the radiant luminosity it emanated. I squinted my eyes and swiveled my head looking back at the steps I've taken.
"These are my choices, and here I am".

Each second passed, and every distance I covered, troubled thoughts continued to swirl and spiral around my palpable consciousness, with no uncertainty to remain its very nature. It skyrocketed and ricocheted with such intense reverberation and only leaving me with a seemingly petite and trivial gap to breath out and clear my attention.
I reflected upon myself, and thought.. "Maybe This is My Destiny".

So many things to do, So little time.

I'm back again. As cliche as it sounds like, it will always remain the unassailable truth for this statement.

There are just too many things to do and so little time.

I went for Sunway Badminton Club General Meeting for the election of committees. Having the thought of getting a higher ranking post in the commitee, I pulled back after some time of thinking. I wouldn't want to get myself stressed up due to numerous commitments I have.

Being committed to piano
Being committed to novels
Being committed to Computer Science
Being committed for Secretary for my Moral Studies Project

So it seems kinda few, but trust me, its rather time consuming and no doubt taking part of my life away, in a good sense of course =)

Moving on, Maths exam will commence next Thursday. Going to study after I'm done with this post. Well, there's basically every topic test every week. XD Not forgetting pop quizzes.

Submission of my english research project is also due next Tuesday and I'm partially done with two of my arguments and introduction. Still lack the references needed. Let's hope I wouldn't procrastinate in this period of time. XD

Stress level is of course rising, and trying my best to cope with it. My luxury will always remain in gym. Tends to drift myself away when I'm in gym, especially when I'm on threadmill. I want to post something appreciative on my future post, after reflecting a few things when I'm idling around.

Went out to Pyramid to watch proposal with my MUFY mates on Thursday. Hung out with Esther on Wednesday and Saturday, My muscle is kinda sore after hours of badminton for two days straight. Aiming to become a pro ^^

Oh well, I suppose thats all for myself. Rest assuring myself to study constantly and remain the top seed. ^^

So in love with Lenka - The Show and David Archuleta - Zero Gravity. Since I've private this blog already. My post is going to start to be personal. Hehe. I had enough to trying to control the emotions I conveyed through my post and be neutral as possible, so as not to accuse nor offend anyone reading it.

Oh well, that's the past, I've learned and not doing it again.

College life is somehow mundane and monotonous, with the weather being a bitch most of the time, fiery sunny day, just can't take it. I'm kinda disappointed today after hearing what my parents have to say. If only my grandma would appreciate their sheer and sincere effort in making her life easier. Sigh..

Anyway, good news is, I got a perfect score of 100% for my 1st Accounting Topic Test.
Real proud though ^^ Grace was so doubtful why I managed to get that even though I behaved mischievously in class. Went out for pyramid today and met up with a few friends. =)

Ok gotta make use of my priceless weekend. Will focus on my Eng research assignment and finish my novel and master Yiruma-Maybe.

Despite the constant pressure I am giving myself, the expectation I believed I should achieve. Let's look into my college life.

Searing and blazing hot sun rays penetrating the fine ozone layer, which used to be thick yet as thin as a paper due to CFC, prevalence of haze, and last but not least, unexpected & unpredictable rainy days.

Been giving me major or minor headache at times. It sucks so much. Weather is just so hot, I always give thought twice whether to strip myself naked. haha. If only theres a shower room in college. Often needed a bath during the afternoon. XD

Back here again. Stress level - very inconsistent.
Today was a really bad though. Kept encountering things that I don't want to see and involved in.

Well, I gotten into such a bad mood and down at the same time. It's hard to joke around with me feeling like that. I guess nobody actually noticed it. For that, I've decided to go home early despite my daily regular stay back in college till 4 p.m, was at my limit already.

Duh.... Good thing is the feeling went away already. Currently neutral for now.

I recently knocked the side car of Myvi when I was going in for a park in the college compound. It was really embarassing and disappointing, to know the fact that I drove for 1 month already, and yet mistakes appear constantly trying to bring me down.

Other than that, life is good for now I believe. However, I suppose things will go worse from now on. It's yes or no now. Moving on, I'm having my account exam tomorrow, 70% prepared and I'm only left 2 hours to study before I slump into my snug & comfortable bed.

Nowadays, I've been thinking. Just what do I desire now ?
Besides slacking and enjoying myself, what is the purpose of my life .. ?

Am I really working towards my goal, studying sufficiently for my major subject, Computer Science or just procrastinating around. I thank God as Tatt Fai did brought me back to consciousness for my starting signs of procrastinating symptoms.

I'm well aware of that, and now I shall pledge myself to really push myself. What am I lacking now is the driving force, I require. Coming back from college, I'll be entirely tired, physically and mentally and just wants to take a long nap. Upon waking, I basically wasted my entire time because my sleeping time has yet to change.

Just what am I doing again ? When will I do something productive ?

I promise I will change.

My current resolution, which I will start doing now.

Study for my computer science
Read my novels, finish it
Once reaching home, I will head to the gym and workout
Really control my diet, I've gaining weight lately, *not muscles* zz

Just realised I only attended 1 1/2 class today. Why the half ? Well, I left my English class after half a hour when Miss H was missing. Miss Jenifer was absent and Miss Hanna took over the class. And I was pretty misfortunate to enter the class without noticing the absence of Miss J. Having my face recognised by Miss H, I have no options but to stay throughout the lesson. (maybe, half of the lesson ^^)

Skipped Computer Science class as well to go Pyramid with Eugene, Cavan and others. Let's hope this doesn't affect my performance for tomorrow's Visual Basic Practical Test. =)

Hello ! =) , it’s really been a while. Just feel like writing something.

agagaga, life is a bliss for me, no stress, no worries (at times), assignments done on time, going out, and etc. Just that I had been struck by some stupid-wont-go-away flu and bad stomach cramps. Other than that, all well that ends well. =P

As most of you all know, my blog are used mainly for the purpose of generating a better command of english which I find it rather important for the future to come. So a movie review it is, since I feel like writing today.

Extracted topic from my Sime Darby Questionaire Scholarship Application :

" What is you favourite film, why ? "

I used to have Titanic as my favourite film of all time, but something has recently top off the chart in my selection. Now, my favourite film is “Slumdog Millionaire.” “Slumdog Millionaire” is a movie made on 2008 directed by Danny Boyle, which adapts the Boeke Prize-winning and Commonwealth Writers' Prize-nominated novel Q & A (2005). To many amazement, this movie has won a grand total of eight Oscar’s Awards, five Critic’s Award, four Golden Globes, and seven BAFTA Awards. So, what can we conclude from here ? What makes this movie so unique and distinctive compared to other films shown in 2008 ? What does the movie illustrate about ?

This film has been a topic of conversation and discussion among peoples everywhere especially citizens in India. This movie tells about an 18 year old boy who made his entrance into a popular quiz show, “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” and astoundingly began to win up to the top prize, which is a million dollars. So to say, people have never encountered such situation for a boy to reach the final round while doctors, professors, and other highly educational individuals could not even experience what it is like to be in the last around. This situation has been bombarded by many inexhaustible inquisitive audience of the quiz show regarding how this boy can actually be a millionaire.

Was he cheating ? Was he lucky ? or Was he a genius ?

These are the queries that are questioned by many people and have been revolving throughout the film. Under this dreadful condition, the boy, named Jamal Malik has been taken into custody by policemen for interrogation for justification on how he managed to grab a full score when he participated in the quiz show. Surprised and admired, were my feeling towards his answers for his reasons. Jamal soon explained his story that starts off in flashback on the very 1st question concerning his old past. Each question leads on into another anecdote and intriguing tale towards the ends. Thus, this movie has attracts many viewers inclusive of me due to the different kind of approaches and perspective that the movie displayed in the film. This, are one of the factors which captivates me in getting engrossed with this attention-grabbing motion picture.

Besides that, the techniques and methods used in narrating the movie is far different and unique if one were to contrast between a typical movie and “Slumdog Millionaire.” The movies include flashbacks peppered along with delightful and nicely added side love story, whereby Jamal Malik (the main character) falls in love with a prostitute named Nita, as Jamal began his romantic pursuit towards his childhood friend.

A sophisticated yet self-explanatory fairy tales it is, as the movie did its prime and major role to provide enough sequences of scenes to avoid being pushed back into a humdrum side and bores the audience. Other than that, the scenes are also sprinkled with vivid touches of poverty, violence and brutal abuses and exploitation plus indifference among the people.

Now, we must not forget about the flamboyant displays of atmosphere gyrating in India, sound and sights included. Aside from the romantic core aspects in the film, the film used most of its screening time emphasizing in Mumbai’s sombre situation of poverty.

The director has done very well in showing every single distinct and definite details happening in India, which includes aggression and brutality among the communities. With that said, how can I not be dazzle and overwhelm with the exotic details shown in “Slumdog Millionaire” ? It is better than any average movie and I find this statement rather irrefutable and indisputable.

Cordial actors and actresses, serious and heartfelt elements synchronize into it, well-angle shots of interesting scenes, and remarkable plot played by the main character, how someone can contradict the very existence of “Slumdog Millionaire” from winning the Oscar Awards ? Again, with its comprehensive features and characteristics of “Slumdog Millionaire”, finding faults in this movie is rather infinitesimal and diminutive.

Moving on, the movie is also well supported with myriads of musical fusions, from American pop hit music mix with dance tracks, to classical hybrid Indian based melody. This is well enough to rationalize why it has been nominated and won the Oscar’s Award for Best Sound Mixing but lost in Best Sound editing to The Dark Knight.

Then, with lovable young actors and actresses put into the movie, it is enough to standardize the movie into a bravura entertainment. Majority or minority, I find the characters portrayed in the movie considerably close to what virtuoso performers are. Additionally, the actors are well trained by the directors, and significantly play the heart and soul of the film. Despite the grimy, stained mud and dirt on their faces, they have never failed to radiate their wide smiles and bright eyes. Regardless of what situation they are in, they treasure what they have entirely and do not emanate even a slight figure of chagrin and disappointment.

Lastly, reaching the climax of the movie, Jamal did his move and attempted the final question posted on the game screen. 4 selections, 25% chances of winning each, with thousands of dollars to risk for failed endeavour, but one million dollars offered when he is triumphant. Heaven or hell ? Albeit predictable and foreseeable, for someone to guess the ending, where Jamal did won his majestic and grandiose prize, I find it not a matter to be worry and to add credence to concern.

In the nutshell, this movie has really mesmerize and enchant me, for its vibrant colours of displays in the movie, vast variety of music scores and composition, exotic details in the movies, portraits of abject poverty in life which made it palpable and interesting different outlooks in the movies and angle shots for scenes, it is no doubt, “Slumdog Millionaire” is now my favourite film.

Am I too preoccupied with the brevity of life ?

Nah. Haha. Mid-Semester break has officially started. 1 week !! ^___^

So, to my friends that hardly online nowadays, and those that went outstation like Sebastian, how are you guys and girls ?!! ^^
Chill and relax ya !!

Moving on, it would be a definite no if I were to refute how much I miss my schoolmates. College is fun, substracting the "little" assignment, and examinations which I just finished few days ago. However, MUFY - Monash University Foundation Year course isn't that lively in terms of events though. Albeit, being one of the most expensive course in Sunway College, it is comparably close to nil if I were to contrast between CIMP course and MUFY course for events commencement.

The only events that were held in MUFY are - Speed Dating in conjunction with Valentine's Day, and Freshie Nite, as I mentioned from my preceding post.

Speed Dating, an event done solely for charity and entertainment, inviting singles of boys and girls, with any kinds of race and age, to participate in this intriguing occasion. Participants are allowed 2-3 minutes of conversation with the opposite sex assigned by the hoster. From there, both parties will consider whether or not, they would provide them their contact numbers or vice versa.

Though I find this superfluous, and merely redundant for it to be held, if it is sheerly to highlight the main events of celebrating the Valentine's Day occasion, I would just simply keep an eye closed. =)

Next, I have recently finished my English Oral Presentation entitled - Sex Parties. =) A rather sensitive or staggering topic, and it may seem far-fetched to all, but I did it ^^ with pictures included as well !! , and scoring a total of 9.2/10 (2nd highest in class) *proud*
Been going out everyday till today. Heading off to Sunway Lagoon, tata =)

"Open the dance floor !" - Words recurred and echoed continously ..

As you all know, almost every college have their orientation night, and the only difference would be the time and duration. Duh.

So, freshie night 2009 !

After hearing tons of "advice" and my senior's past experience in Sunway, Taylors, Inti and so forth, all of them would be a negative review. Signifying how redundant this event may seems, and how mundane it would be as things get even more and more dull each second. However, this time I would side the opposite ones.

Stating what is "Malaysia's Timing" would be a surplus for all of you. So, the event started 1 hr later. Moreover, throughout the first 1 hr 30 minutes, it was heavily peppered with superfluous elements such as dull and platitudinous actions and dance performance, slowly pushing everything to a humdrum side to most of the crowd. Fortunately, not all was an eyesore, some performances are very well, worth-watching for instance, popping and some contemporary dances.

So after the lucky draws, games representing each courses, we finally reached the last part of the agenda. With that, the dance floors were opened ! Albeit the sound systems were not as great in comparison with clubbing area, it do bring up the liveness and entertainment. Various musics were played at intervals and professional dance performers started dancing together with the crowds. Cheers and screams were heard most of the times, obviously indicating how fun they were enjoying themselves. Of course, I am part of it.

Everything ends around 11.30 and everyone, looking stale and exhausted, yet fun and amused heading home as everyone is still having their college lesson the next day. Most of us got separated and lots of my coursemate friends weren't present for the event. So, we hardly took pictures but heres a few I manage to get.

Being in any course either MUFY or Aus Maths, everything does have its ups and downs. I am elated that I passed the English and Mathematic placement test on the 2nd day of orientation. If not, I'll be shortlisted and placed into a "Special Class" throughout the semester. It wasn't a pleasant memory though, as it somehow rekindle our horrible nostalgia of spm period when we were sitting for our placement test.

And guess what, MUFY course has the longest orientation days, which is good news I suppose. =D

Moving on, we are given a perplexing timetable schedule and are required to plan out our own timetable. However, the situation was pretty much hectic, considering the limited place for each group class and the large demands of MUFY students wanting the same group class. So, we have put our heads together and quickly organize what we want while considering class clashes, sufficient break time and so forth.

Fortunately, I managed to get 75% of what I wanted but missed my selected Comp Science classes , thus resulting me to go home at only 4 pm ++ T_T

On the 4th day, we had rounds and rounds of entertaining games and icebreakers for approximately 4 hours ! Everyone was separated into groups of colours. Once done, lunch was served and library tour came next into the agenda.

Orientation Day 1 - Sun-U

So how was everyone's Orientation Day ?

As for me, it's a little to the humdrum side. Sharp at 8.30am we arrived, flabbergasted at the amount of crowd swarming the entire Sunway-U entrance to complete their registration courses. Fortunately, MUFY wasn't so packed which made it easier for us to register. Once done, we ventured around the campus looking in awe to some structures that we can never find in high school compound.

Skipping that, we were ushered to the MPH (Multi Purpose Hall) for more briefing regarding the very 1st day. This includes rules and regulation, heart-warming and welcoming speeches from the directors, and introduction of every facility accessible to us students. However, as typical a speech may be, we as young adults are never intoxicated to speeches.

The routine were pretty much the same, repetitive and monotonous. Slides presentations were given to preview a short trailer on the whereabouts of the campuses. Albeit said, the speeches were well-spoken and delivered in an appealing manner, hence earning an excellent first impression from majority of the students inclusive of me. =D

The whole event ends at 11 am. After that, we took a tour around the campus again, heading off to the Tun Hussein Onn library located at the South Wing of the Middle Area. Luckily, the library managed meet with our expection. The library consisted of 2 floors, each varying in different categories, and positioned in every end of the area.

Let's not forget to mention the vast availabilities of computers included there. Moreover, the library is capacious and enormous, whereby it consist an extensive variation of substantial books all arranged in the shelves just for sake of us student's researches. Once we are satisfied looking around the library, we proceeded to the Computer Learning Centre, where internet access and free Wifi are available there. =D

After eating for almost 2 hours in a steamboat restaurant, we head off to watch a horror movie in Sunway Pyramid.

Dark floors hmm..

It's really amusing hearing majority of people and movie reviews deducing that this movie is really scary. I dare say, it's practically not. The entire film takes around 90 minutes and so to say, only the first 25 minutes kept me intoxicated with the show. As the poster above look as good as it seems, a movie having retarded ghost looking like Shakespeare and ambiguous ending will never captivate me enough to continue watching this movie at all or to even leave me with a moderate impression after leaving the cinema.

Going in to it, I had no idea what to expect. Was it going to be serious ? a sophisticated movie full with complexity and conundrum intertwined together with parallel world ? ridiculous ? or funny ? Well.. maybe everything except the word : Scary.

The show revolved around a soon-isolated hospital with sudden silence whereby a drop of a pin is enough to echo the entire area. With the characters advancing deeper and deeper into the creepy and eerie hospital, various version of "ghost" or "monster" soon randomly appear out of nowhere. Enough to frighten you, maybe.. but just 1 second. Period.

Besides, I found it aggravating that I just couldn't see the action or what was going on at times. However, the look of the film is great with sinister looking hospital corridors and rooms, terrifying mutilated corpse lurking around the corner. The only major fallback of this show is definitely the bloody monster. The monster wasn't even scary or "hair-raising".

Obviously looking at the amount of budget, estimated around 4mil, how can one actually give a proper decent scary movie. Moreover, the ending was a copout. Basically a young autistic girl named Sarah did most of her part at the end of the movie, battling the final boss monster, and eventually head back to where the first scene was started. Therefore, I have yet to really sink my teeth into any of these kind of movie.

As some might find obvious from the above, one can say that there is a lot of overused "scares" and set-ups from typical Asian horror films, as well as the good Asian tendency to sideline story and unlogical progression for the sake of aesthetically refined "scary" sequences. The film was neither good nor bad in the first half hour, but all this changes when the first member of monster makes her screaming entrance. Looking as ridiculous and stupid in their monster-like constumes really kept me a straight face leaving with awe.

They do not look scarier on screen than on stage ! One of them looks like a super-sized monster with a studded leather-jacket coming from an online game. Ya allah, to me, it's either ironic genius or prepubescent and juvenile stupidity acted out by grown and matured man.

They just don't push the envelope far enough. Basically the best way of describing it is ludicrous, ridiculous, moronic, meaningless and a waste of precious time. Musics played in the movie were exceptionally cliched, predictable and totally mainstream. Plastered in heavy cliches and predictable plot-twists, absence of mood senses, providing the least scary monsters ever to grace the silver screen really earn a 1/5 stars from me.

Clocks are ticking away - second by second...

Before you know it, its already approximately 13 more days towards the 1st day of my College Orientation. In addition to that, the fact that high school has already ended has stay continuously as the incontrovertible truth. Likewise, one can never deny that high school is yet to finish. So after enjoying my wonderful holiday, I do ponder about how everyone is feeling towards the start of college life.

As for me, being ambivalent whether or not I am genuinely exhilarated or just plainly indifferent towards this beginning of the new phase of life, I do wonder just what am I thinking lately. Skipping that, I am thankful to know that at least 2 of my schoolmates are coming along with me to study the same course. That is, MUFY, which simply stands for Monash University Foundation Year.

College, a term most often used today to denote an educational institution, I am hoping that this incoming college life would not lead me into an arduous and strenuous life. Besides that, I fervently believe I am able to cope with the demands made by lecturers together with assignments given. After reading just a quarter of a book written by Adam Khoo, he has already built an insight in me on how to sustain a consistent management of workload together with motivational thoughts to enable me to undertake any kinds of impediment laying ahead.

Having said that, it usually mean that I must not give up even I were to encounter an insurmountable barrier or any unbreakable obstacle between me and the goal I am planning to achieve.

Hence, I contemplate not to procrastinate and I must remain resolute in regards of these new resolutions that I have made for next year. I must stand firm and not let any of my negative judgement manipulate me. =)

Today, the seventh generation of Langkawi’s inhabitants has long come and gone, but people here still believe that the prosperity and blessings the islands enjoy today. Reaching Langkawi through bus and high speed ferry, we arrived at Kuah Town approximately 2pm. Despite being in an archipelago of numerous islands in the Andaman Sea, Langkawi Island, it is undeniable for me to miss home. Being off the coast of Kedah, where a cluster of 99 islands with the best of many worlds; gorgeous beaches, world-class infrastructure, highly discounted duty-free shopping complex, fascinating legends and lastly, economical transport is where I stay for holidays.

With the vast availabilities of rental vehicles in Langkawi, there is no discomfort in travelling around. Not forgetting, having friends that are mature enough to drive, anxiety to travel around expensively is long gone in that domain.

Langkawi, typically geared towards tourism, as we get to experience the beautiful countryside and the peaceful landscape of paddy fields accompanied by a herd of cows throughout the journey travelling in a van. Some of Langkawi’s most rustic and memorable views are along the road that circles the island.A chilly and cool feeling it would be, as winds travel in high velocity colliding with our faces as soon we open the window. Small villages with wooden houses framed by palm trees, and foreigners pedalling their mountain bike for some time of relaxation never failed to be spotted.

Furthermore, with early reservation for a suite room in Aseania Resort, how can one remember home ? With such capacious and voluminous space, even pillow fight is enough to be initiated. A queen sized bed and 2 single beds, inter-connected with one another through an opening of a door, with 2 spacious bathroom as well, this will just undermine the homesickness that one has.

Reaching the dawn of the day, with such fortunate luck as we encountered a 1-day event carnival hosted to provide us with cheap and reasonable foods at the same time, enabling us to indulge in home-made local food only available there. ABC-kacang for only RM2, nasi-beriani for only RM 3, white rice coated with curries and goat meat and so forth.

Once everyone has satisfied their hunger, we then head to duty-free shops to purchase some souvenirs and chocolates.

Heineken for only RM2.70, Tiger-Beers for only RM 3, Vodkas for only RM 45, not to mention chocolates almost half price of what is sold in Kuala Lumpur. How can one resist such extremely powerful temptation ?!

After browsing through and acquire what we wanted, we headed back to the hotel for a round of gambling and drinking, assisted with music of all kind of genre turned on loud. The night ends with a blast and exhaustion just wore us out immediately as soon as we lie flat on a snug and comfortable bed.

**** Woke up at 6 a.m and it's raining cats and dogs. =.=
Jogging Plan : Failed !

Credits to the USJ Residential Association, as we would not be able to embark on a journey to the parlimen if it weren't for them.

The parliament of Malaysia is the national legislature of Malaysia, based on the Westminster system. Meanwhile, brochures were handed out with includes details such as the system on how a law is being made, the functions of parlimen and so forth.

Inspections were being made upon reaching there. At the same time, handphones and cameras were taken into custody. Feeling disheartened, we let this feeling goes by after a while. At the main hall were well-furnished couch enough for a seating of a minimum of 20 people. Browsing through quickly at the atmosphere, we were brought into the Dewan Negara.

Likewise, the designed structure of Dewan Negara and Rakyat has never cease to keep me in awe.

Sadly, we passed the "Question Time" for both the hall because that is when the debate becomes lively and often heated. Moving on, scrumptious lunch were also provided free of charge, situated at the left wing of cafeteria room.

In the cafeteria, the tables were bombarded with numerous ministry and chief in charge. However, as all stereotypical Malaysians, majority of them smoke, thus diminishing the good perception we had on them. Hence, our breathing was pretty much restricted, just inhaling the smoke. o.o

While indulging in our luscious and appetizing lunch, a few Yang Berhormat were invited to give a speech regarding our trip to parlimen. Fortunately, we get to meet Yang Berhormat Lembah Pantai, Nurul Izzah Anwar, daughter of Anwar Ibrahim.

Pictures were taken and we move on to a tour around the parlimen.

Finally, we headed back to Subang at 2 p.m, feeling stale and fatigued. Lastly, I would like to thank USJ RA for organizing such a beneficial trip for us, as we commoners are able to take a step into the parlimen, at the same time, widening our horizons in political fields.

Quarantine ?

Just had a really last minute trip to Pyramid.
So, due to various persuasion done by my friends, I decided to watch Quarantine.
Its 1 a.m, let's review about it while I'm still fresh =D

A handheld camera it is, similar to Cloverfield but with much better coordination and obvious angle to capture the audience's attention. Quarantine, a low budget remake of spanish film called Rec. Gotten this info from Wikipedia.

The entire film clocks in at less than 80 minutes, and most of the first quarter is spent in loose set-up. Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) is the host of all night reality TV show, follows various people around L.A for an evening. Finally, the action starts when they gotten a S.O.S call.

Inside an old four-storey apartment building, they've just heard a series of blood-scurling screams coming from an old woman in one of the apartments. While Angela and her cameraman wait excitedly outside, the firemen kick the door down. Moving on fast to the scene, a woman is standing with blood on her nightgown and foam around her mouth. The policeman moves forward to reassure her.

UH OH !

A chain reaction of bad things start happening and there's no way to escape. Ok no more spoilers.

Through the entire time, Angela and her cameraman keep the tape rolling, demonstrating the kind of sensitivity that should stand them well in their future broadcast careers.

False to the legacy of Cloverfield, the camera swings less violently and finds sharper angles as the tension ratchets up, but there are a few innovations. If Cloverfield gave us swiming shadows, Quarantine adds green night-vision and the on-the-floor cleavage cam. Other dynamic visual touches include the reflecting tape on a fireman's jacket, which makes a crazy zigzaq in the flickering light.

Inevitably, there's a sense of watching a conveyor belt like in "Sushi King", as we wait for another character to either bite or get bitten. But credit to Quarantine as they didn't resort to computer-generated monsters or supernatural explanations, it uses consistent logic and confinement to find new ways of being scary. =D

The outline is familiar, but Quarantine delivers the fright with solid acting and perfectly calibrated shocks as he cleverly works his claustrophobic setting. Much to assure you, there are times where you wonder when and where the "thing" will appear, however, I find it hard to make prediction about such scene as I always get caught off guarded when the "thing" appear.

Likewise, many will see this as a variation or continuation of similar films such we've seen in the past such as "28 Days later" or "Night of the Living Dead" to name a few. The only difference would be the setting in one location as opposite to different areas.

Jennifer Carpenter, who mad her film debute in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose", may not have the same scream level as other professional actress but who cares ! Unlike other horror films where one is being chased through the woods or in the streets, you are trapped inside a building which results in limitation of survival options.

Unfortunately, Quarantine spends little time looking for an explanation, which is drawback at some degree. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a film that will scare the wits out of you, even briefly, you can't be wrong from seeing this one.

5..6..7..8..9 Seconds..

Staring bluntly at my grey-Nike digital watch, slowly counting the time..

" Just when will it end ? Just when ?! "

With my head down on the wooden desk, imaginative thoughts swirling around me, the smell of freedom vacantly appeared next to me, as I approached the final paper of "Prinsip Perakaunan"

I muttered and showed a thankful sign as paper 1 wasn't as problematical as I expected. Meanwhile, everything slowed down around me for that duration. I finished the paper with a sigh of relief, but the enjoyment didn't last long, as I swivelled my head and only to see 30 minutes has passed.

1 hour to go, I told myself. A long dreadful moment for I was there. Here I am, waiting for the big hand clock to strike 12.25 p.m.

A gruelling moment it would be, I flipped and double checked the paper for careless mistakes. However, nothing can outweigh the thoughts of finishing SPM and holidays. Hence, I spared only 25 minutes of my precious time going through the paper over and over again.

With my thoughts wondering in another 'dimension', I look around surreptitiously to avoid being accused for cheating, and only to find Peng Han stagnant in his seat.

Yawning and waiting for time to pass, shots of pieces of rubbers were thrown towards me. Simply to know, it would be Peng Han. Pieces of rubbers were then thrown headed for him as I responded to his assault. In that moment, I was almost caught by the invigilator. With flicks of shadow he could see through his eyes, he quickly revolved his body to find his victim. But to no avail, he sighed with chagrin while looking intently at me as I remained insipid to the surrounding.

30 Minutes has passed..

Everyone began to be restless, just waiting for the final moment, to their path of independence. Some took a nap, and some gazed around, admiring the scenery outside the window for one last time.

"Only 1 minute left !, I told myself."

As the invigilator moved the bell to the centre of the main table, he spoke with a smile on his face, wishing everyone the best of luck and "Happy Holidays".

An euphoric moment it would be, as he pushed the bell down, making a sharp-piercing sound to end the final paper. Papers were collected by the person in-charge after that. As soon as all the papers were taken away, screams of joy could be loudly heard and coherent conversations were initiated among friends simultaneously. Everyone left the examination room with cheerfulness, merriment and joyfulness, relishing the moment they have as they finished their final obstacle of the year.

Approaching the front gate of school, I looked back, reminiscing the past and remembering everything I can from the time I came to this school. I heave another sigh of relief and now, I shall embark on the new journey waiting ahead of me. This will be the new phase of life.

A "blurring" moment

My dad went to the wrong area instead of waiting at my chemistry tuition location. He though it was add maths. -.- He waited there for 15 minutes ++ and during the period, some students that have finish add maths tuition actually entered my dad's car mistaking for their own vehicle. My dad didn't even notice its someone else in the car and the someone else wasn't even aware they are in the wrong car. Amazing o.o

Tuesday - 30 September 2008
Stay over at Norman's hse for a game of Mah Jong. With chagrin, things went haywired. Electricity were cut off during midnight, just when we were about to have fun. So, we made use of the darkness by playing with fires and burning flamable materials. Fortunately, everything lighted up at 2a.m.

Breeze of cold air radiating from fans and aircons were so refreshing after hours of waiting and playing around in the hot and scorching atmosphere. A moment of silence as we enjoy the cooling ambience surrounding us. Minutes later, we resume to our own things, engrossed in televisions, PSP, and computers. As soon the right hand clock struck 3 a.m, we head back to the bedroom and slept.

Morning
Had 2 hours badminton match organized by Andrew in 3K. However, as all stereotype Malaysians behave, we arrived late to the destination. Despite that, we enjoyed ourself throughout the game. Then, we contemplated to watch a movie in Sunway Pyramid. Everyone agreed to the idea, and all of us went back to their home for an invigorating shower. Chung Ee drove us there with a charge of RM 1 each. =D

Afternoon
After hours of lingering around .. to pass time. We watched "Connected" - a chinese action drama with famous actors and actresses in it such as Louis Koo and Barbie Hsu. All was well, and the money spent on this movie was well worth it. With eyes glued to the screen, everyone were held in suspense throughout the movie. I was about to write a review for that exhilarating money-worthed movie but my lazy-ness overwhelmed me.

Night
Struck by a really heavy headache when I reached home. Took a stronger dose of painkiller to ease the pain. I immediately collapsed onto my comfortable bed after taking the pill.

Gym Etiquette

Everyone are bound to meet an irritating and annoying person. Whether you are in a club, library, restaurant, shopping complex or gym. Ever since the existence of mankind, it is undeniable that at least one "idiotic" people will be born to this world now and then, with the job to irritate you as much as they want. For my case, it would be during gym. Yes, today I'm talking about gym etiquette. Tons of people would give various excuses just to skip or avoid gym. I am one of them.

The most common reason would be lazy, or just have no motivation. As for me, it would be "stupid" people and academic studies. It's been almost 2 full months since I last step in the gym. So with no delay, I embraced myself again and head to the gym today, feeling inspired and motivated to achieve my dream body. However, these incidence has cause many dubious thoughts whether should I go to the gym again.

What bother me the most during gym would be the sound exerted by "stupid" people in the gym. It is reasonable to sometimes produce involuntary sound during hardcore work-out, pushing yourself over the limit. But this has totally gone far beyond comprehension. Not only that they make ear-splitting noise, they sometimes shout out loud. Shout, as in LOUD !!

Sometimes, in more humorous attempt, would be moaning. Yes, he moan as though he was having a bloody hardcore fuck in the gym. Even pOrN-stars is incomparable to him. Not only its hillarious, but distracting ! Even with my eye closed and focused, the sound is still audible to my naked ears. You would say, shift to another area then. However, you have to bear in mind that my workout is based on certain body parts, hence, I use free weights periodically. It would be a total absurd if you want me to move the machine -.-

Furthermore, some do it to gain attention. They give sounds like "Yeah", "Give it to me", and "UH". WTF ? I can see they carry really heavy weights that I can't even attempt to do it. But do you have go to the extent of shouting out loud, just to make everyone to notice you ? No, You don't. Ocassionally, I would even encounter this kind of people, emulating the same thing, but with the wrong posture ! My trainer has taught me well to prioritize good workout posture as it is vital in avoiding internal and external injury during workout. How I wish they would accidentally draw forth convulsion during these attempt. Then I would go cackling like a demon, leaving him to deal with his contortion of body.

The second "stupid" kind of people would be, people hogging the equipments almost 24/7. Although the gym is capacious, you would rarely get enough space to move around when you are in peak hour. Not to mention the fact that most machines are only available in 1 or 2 sets. It's really troublesome when I just about to complete my workout, a guy or a woman would be sitting there using the equipment that I wanted. Yes, usually I would let patience overwhelm me but eventually my patience would dry out.

15min.. 30min.. I will still encounter the bloody same person using the same equipments, especially abdominal. My god, doing countless of same workout isn't going to get you anywhere, not forgetting that sometimes they use so light weights, that even 7 year old kid has no problem carrying it. At times, I would just give up and head to shower. After I have done with my shower, I thought I would take one last look at the equipment whether its still occupied by him/her. The answer is YES. *Gobsmacked !*

Third "stupid" people would be people that leave their bloody stench, and putrid sweats on the equipments. The disgusting odour emanated from the sweats were so noticeable. Besides that, some people are born with hyperhidrosis or to simplify it, a condition characterized by abnormally increased perspiration. Despite them knowing that, they aren't even bothered to wipe their bloody sweat off from the equipment !!

Lastly, "stupid" people no 4. Before I start, everyone no matter male or female, old man or young women, black or white, want to maintain their springful youth. Albeit said, there is still time and place to do that. Sometimes, it would be such an eyesore to see old women, ranging from age 49-55 above, would dress in a mere slutty dresses, revealing their sagging belly button and other body parts. Tight tops, pants, even skirts ! OMFG. It's sooooo disgusting. .. .. ..

Everyone tend to get old and we must never live in denial. As a quote said, denial may be a bliss, but reality is a pain. We have to face the reality like what I've stated. At times, I would overheard their conversation and you'll be laughing like a chicken if you're in my shoes.

Bloody hell.. . . What a deafening moment ! I am not condeming them but do they have to say it as such a high amplitude ? (sry too much physics =D) It means loud in case you don't know. Recently, I encounter another kind of person, usually targeted on aunts. For machines, they would just let go the weights from such a height, that it would definitely damage the equipments. Just imagine 5 stacked bars, drop from such a height, clashing with the remaining bars underneath. BANG !, its so loud, even I was entirely preoccupied with my surrounding.

So there ya go, I just hate to see this kind of people. I mean, "Stupid" people.
